One doesn't change their best friends for life list very often. The list will more or less be the same for years. But, one might hope to make it longer, but not shorter. I've been blessed with really good friends for life. Some of them have been with me for a very very long time now and I'm very lucky to add one more person to that list. :) My newest best friend for life - GG
GG was born in Kuwait and after spending her initial days (...planning the war... J/K) there, she came back to CHN and continued her schooling in SHY. After spending nearly a decade as the naughty queen of the boarding school, she returned back to CHN to complete her high school and also her bachelors. After a few years of living with her family, she decided to move to the USA to do Masters. Right after graduation, she worked for RB for nearly 4 years traveling places and countries. After having put in countless hours at work, GG decided to take a break and get back to her loved ones. So she quit her job and went back to CHN which is when the search for her Mr. Right began and so that's how she found me :D
The first time I saw her profile was when I was at a friend's place having dinner. My dad e-mailed her profile to me and asked if I liked her. My instant reaction after reading through her about me section was that, it will be a good match and I heard a voice somewhere tell me that she might be the one (.... light bulbs and alarm bells ringing!!!!!). And, yes indeed she was. :D Our first chat session lasted for nearly 4 hours and at the end I was even more hopeful that this will work out. Our second chat wasn't all that great, with both of us getting off the wrong foot and misunderstanding each other. Patience prevailed and since the third day, we both have been good buddies ever since. After our first week, we felt that there was very little in common and we had aplenty to explore of each other's lives. But, as time rolled on, we were pleasantly surprised to realize how much we had in common.
Everyday is a reminder to me of her pure friendship, genuineness, brutal honestly and candor. GG knows what she loves, dislikes and what she wants. She is also very brave and stands her grounds with things she believes in. She has a variety of interests from food, colors, clothes, travel to dancing, singing, music and movies. She also loves being on stage and performing. She is full of life and that makes my life even more colorful (....I was usually a black, grey or dark green type of guy). She is extremely spiritual and religious but in a sane way that I can put up with. GG always talks about her anger issues and she is also her first critic and that's one of the attributes that I love about her. She always wants to become a better human being. :) Oh I almost forgot, she loves non-veg and can't live without it.
One of the things we both share is our interest towards making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate. She wants to help old people feel that they're loved and cared for. She also believes in donating 10% of her monthly paychecks. I can't ask for a better woman, can I? ;o-)
Every man has his own dreams of the type of woman he would want to marry. I'm extremely fortunate to have GG in my life, she is just everything I wanted.
